Husband of an interior designer, son of an industrial designer, and brother of a fashion designer; Youngjae grew up in a family that was passionate about design and its interface with our everyday lives. A graduate of the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis, Youngjae set a goal to design places and spaces that are beautiful, efficient, and simple. Working on a variety of projects, Youngjae brings talent and knowledge about creating architecture that is responsive to its community and context.

In 2011, Youngjae completed his most significant project to date, his family’s home in Korea. After constructing and living in a space he conceived, Youngjae developed a sensitive skillset that he now deploys to his work with the studio.

In his free time, Youngjae enjoys walking around the city and exploring hidden spaces.
