Ruchi Dattani
| Associate AIARuchi grew up drawing and painting every afternoon with her two sisters. In college, she started pursing a degree in the Fine Arts but quickly realized her work would only be available to a privileged few. This led her to pursue architecture, which she sees as an equitable, accessible and lived form of art. She received her Master of Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture, where her passion for architecture was compounded by a deep interest in behavioral and social sciences. Consequently, she approaches projects with a focus on the user and the community considered in its context. This interest in community urbanism brought her to Ross Barney Architects.
When she is not at work, Ruchi loves cooking, taking long strolls along the Riverwalk and watching some football with her puppy - Burnham.
