Jhil Jha
| AIAJhil was raised in India and South Africa, graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cape Town. These experiences have informed a deep appreciation for the role context plays in shaping architectural language and spatial utilization. Jhil is intrigued the range of design imperatives that shape a project, from internal tools of representation and constructability to the external forces of budget and client expectations. Having worked on a variety of project typologies and at various scales, Jhil brings a wealth of knowledge and technical skills to the design process.
Outside the studio, Jhil enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and a crazy beagle named Toby. You can find her cheering from the stands at her daughter’s tennis matches.
