Drew Smith
| Assoc. AIADrew is an architectural designer passionate about how architecture can positively mediate relationships between people, infrastructure, and landscape. Drew’s varied experience includes small-scale art installations, neighborhood civic buildings, and large-scale transportation projects. Drew excels at multi-disciplinary and creative collaboration.
Drew enjoys finding ways to use design to evoke joy and surprise. With an artist collective he co-founded, Interesting Tactics, Drew created a series of furniture made of living plants and later a greenhouse on a frozen lake in Minnesota. Drew also has an interest in teaching; he previously served as a Visiting Instructor in Architecture at South Dakota State University, where he taught professional practice and design studios.
Outside of work, Drew enjoys playing tennis, visiting ancient sites, and walking THE LINE.
