Urban Design and Landscape Practice Grows

Ross Barney Architects is excited to announce the growth of its urban design and landscape practice with the addition of Misa Inoue, PLA, ASLA.

Misa joins the studio with nearly 20 years of experience. As a long time collaborator, Misa has worked on notable Ross Barney Architect’s projects at the University of Minnesota Duluth Campus, including the Swenson Science Building and Swenson Civil Engineering Building, both ASLA award winners. Other projects have included Landscape and Urban Design at the University of Minnesota Duluth Labovitz School of Business and Economics, Valparaiso University, Washington University Early Childhood Learning Center, University of Dubuque, Rush University Medical Center, Champaign Public Library, University of Chicago Child Development Drexel, Harley-Davidson Museum, Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital Central Campus, and Regions Hospital Plaza Courtyard and Healing Garden.

Her work has received numerous awards from the American Society of Landscape Architects Illinois, Wisconsin, and National Chapters. Ross Barney Architects is currently working on urban design and landscape projects at the NASA Glenn campus in Cleveland Ohio, including a Facilities Vision Plan, Master Plan, and a new Aerospace Communications Laboratory. In the coming weeks another Chicago project will be announced that includes extensive landscape contributions to a dense urban neighborhood.
