Ryan Gann, Assoc. AIA

Biography

Ryan has worked on some of the studio’s most ambitious civic projects. These architectural and urban design investigations have allowed him to collaborate with communities across Chicago and the world; articulating the role public space plays in our everyday life.

During his tenure as a student he spent a great deal of time committed to empowering his peers: the next generation of architects. This commitment led to his service on the national boards of the American Institute of Architecture Students, National Architectural Accrediting Board, and soon the American Institute of Architect’s Strategic Council and Board of Directors as the Associate Representative.

The inaugural Architect-in-Residence at the Hyde Park Art Center and a recipient of the Schiff Foundation Fellowship, Ryan’s design work has been exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago Architecture Biennial and the Chicago Architecture Foundation.

In his spare time he enjoys to travel and visit new places, devoted to being inspired by culture, architecture, and design.
